Ichimbia Park Quito

We had a BBQ in Park Ichimbia, overlooking Quito old town. It is the park where Sadie and Leo got married in 2007. We took Tori and introduced her to everyone. There was an orchid exhibition on in the park so we took a look. We got some great shots of the sunset as we were leaving.

Tommy and Leo's birthday

Leo's birthday is on new years eve and Tommy's is at the end of January so we decided to have a party to celebrate the old men in the middle of Jan. We had the party in our apartment in Miravalles. Sade and I made lots of caiprinia to keep everyone happy. Tom spent hours making CD compilations ready for the night but we ended up playing salsa all night long.

Christmas 2008-9 Galapagos Islands

Mum & Dad came to visit us at Christmas. We managed to visit the amazing Galapagos Islands. We stayed on the island Isabella for 3 nights before setting sail on the 'Encantada.' We navigated around all the islands at night and arrived at a different place each morning. We swam with turtles, sharks, sealions and Rays. We came up close and personal with sea and land iguanas and the famous giant tortoises. It was an amazing place and definitely a highlight of South America.
